This will definitely be the last update for this month, because, well, it's already the last day of the month!

I'm in a both pleasant and unpleasant state of stress since a few weeks, because I'll attend a convention in a few days! I'll be there with Andras and we'll spend our time there with some of our long-term mutual friends.

I'm a bit bummed that I couldn't prepare on my own for it, butAndras and I will meet up a day prior and look for silly things to bring to the convention.

Yesterday, Andras and I met up in the city. It's our tradition to go to the big fair in my hometown every time it's there- in spring, summer and winter. Somehow we couldn't go often in the last year, but I'm happy we made it this time on the second-to-last day! lol

First, we went on a shopping spree. We spent over 2 hours at a store looking at books which rated the best "rock artists ever" and were FUMING at some unfair reviews we found! We didn't really buy much (I just bought a sweater and an umbrella, because I forgot mine at home, and I think that's all?), but it's always really funny to poke fun at ugly clothes or other weird stuff we see in stores. :)

We ate lunch at another burger joint than we usually go to, because our usual restaurant was closed due to renovations. It was still great, though! Especially the drink I ordered, which was an orange (and other citrus fruits) flavored lemonade, that was tangy and sour and not too sweet.

Then, finally fun fair time! Of course it rained when we were on two of the rides, so no time to unwrap my newly bought umbrella. We were drenched (living at the limit!), but we quickly dried, because it was so hot outside.

It got very foggy after the rain. I love that this "ride" is Super Mario (Sunshine) themed! The minions? Not so much.

Andras and I got very big Resident Evil Village Heisenberg vibes LOL

Why do they look like this? What do they have to hide? The longer I look at this, the funnier it gets

We also wanted to go to our favorite bar, but every seat was already taken. Oh well. We also didn't have luck at two other places, so we finally settled at McD's and got milkshakes x) Then, we departed and made our way home. I walked almost 20 km / 12 miles yesterday and was at the very least exhausted.

Today, I also couldn't rest, because my parents and I met up with my aunt and my cousin who we hadn't seen in over 3 years. We ate at a "Chinese" restaurant that I've always found too westernized and I think finally my parents understand what I mean. XD

I'm finally at home again and kind of bummed, because I couldn't get some rest and an exhausting 6 days work week is waiting for me. I'm definitely not looking towards it, but there's nothing I can do about it.

Mh, I never know what to write. When I was a child I was focussed on DeviantArt and made and wrote an innumerable amount of journals. But eventually, something switched inside me, and that switch made me a much more private person. It's not a bad thing per se, because it has sheltered me from posting too much personal stuff on social media or any site on which I'm followed by some dozens of people. But at times I feel as if I isolate too much, and it's something that I'd like to conquer at least on my website.

I've recently realized that I've lived for almost 20 years in this village and I'm somewhat sick of it. I can't and won't leave because I live in a very rural area and my parents are close. But my hometown (and especially my summer home at the sea) is rather far away. I always have to drive to a "Park and Ride" parking lot at the outskirts of my hometown and then travel to downtown (or wherever I want to be) by an "extended" subway system. Or -- if there aren't some maintenance works -- I'd drive to my deceased grandpa's street, park there, and then go by subway. My other home is of course even farther away and only reached by car. :b

Last time I've been to my summer home was in January. I've spent many months there from when I was born until I was a teenager, but mostly in the summer months, or in spring or fall weekends. It's inspired me tremendously when I was young, but I think it's even extremer in winter.

In January, it was extremely foggy and empty. Most residents are there in summer and sometimes spring and fall, but not in winter. Last time I've been to my summer home was magical.

A herd of deer that we saw very close to the street.

The coast near the "town center".

View from the pier towards the lifeguard station.

Foggy view from our village towards another village. On the left, there's the sea.

I can't wait to be there again. Having the sea close to me just feels like home.
